Ridehalgh Celebrates New Chapter with Office Opening in Clitheroe

Ridehalgh Chartered Accountants, part of the Wilds Group, has officially opened the doors to its new office on York Street, right in the heart of Clitheroe.

The firm welcomed clients and local businesses to an informal launch event on Friday 21st March, marking the move into the new premises and celebrating the wider brand refresh across the Wilds Group.

Lyanne Higginbottom, Managing Director of Wilds Chartered Accountants, said:

“Our aim over 10 years ago was to buy a practice in the Ribble Valley. As a local, I could see the potential here. Moving wasn’t easy in practice, but we got there in the end. This is often the way with strategy – some twists and turns, but it’s wonderful when you achieve what you set out to.”

The new space, located at Ethos House, 4 York Street, reflects the group’s commitment to the local business community and offers a fresh, modern environment for both clients and the team.

Guests at the opening included Anthony Wild, the son of the firm’s founder. Although now retired, Anthony remains a familiar face and strong supporter of the business, having only stepped away from the day-to-day a couple of years ago.
“It was great to see Anthony at the opening,” said Lyanne. “He met a client whose grandfather went to school with him – the stories they were telling were fantastic. Many of the team at Clitheroe met him for the first time and really enjoyed sharing in that history.”

With decades of experience and a client-first approach, Ridehalgh continues to provide trusted accountancy, tax and advisory services to businesses across Clitheroe and the wider Ribble Valley. The move to York Street marks a new chapter in the firm’s long history – with its roots firmly in tradition and its sights set on the future.
